What actually costs money
Your provider accounts, exactly as they do today. ShareQuota never sees the payment, never adds a fee and never marks anything up — requests go from your machine to the provider you already pay.

Prices are the provider’s to publish and change. Per-model figures on this site come from the binary’s registry and are shown on each model’s page.
Why it can be free
Because there is no server in the middle to pay for. ShareQuota runs on your machine, keeps its state in a SQLite file in your data directory, and talks only to the providers you connected. There is no infrastructure bill, so there is nothing to recover — free here is a consequence of the architecture, not a tier that a later version withdraws.
