Privacy
Last updated July 29, 2026
ShareQuota is built so that most of what a privacy policy usually has to explain simply does not happen. There is no account, no server of ours in the request path, and no telemetry — so this page is short, and every line of it is checkable.
The binary
The downloaded binary has no account system and no telemetry. Credentials, settings and configuration backups are written to a local directory on your own machine. Nothing is transmitted to us — there is no us in the path. Requests go directly from your machine to the provider you connected, carrying your credential for that provider and nothing else.
Prompts and completions
Never written to disk, never logged, never seen by anyone but you and the provider you sent them to. This is also why there is no request-history screen: the record it would show is deliberately not kept.
This website
The site stores one cookie, which remembers your chosen language, and one local-storage entry — sq-theme — which remembers whether you picked light, dark or neither. Both stay on your device and neither is sent anywhere. There is no analytics script, no advertising network and no cross-site tracking. If you email us, we have your email; that is the entire inventory.
Deleting your data
Disable the CLI integrations so your original configs are restored, then delete the data directory and the binary. Nothing else exists anywhere — there is no account to close and nothing held on a server to request back.
